Ok, so who doesn’t like chia seeds? I mean, they’re small and make this weird gelatin like gooey thing and have a slightly bitter taste and…
Alright, you got me. I don’t like chia seeds.
But, I promise even the biggest chia seed haters will like this! The chocolate-cinnamon-cayenne combination work to mask any of that bitter chia flavor.
If you actually like chia seeds (I know you’re out there), you can always reduce the sugar and/or spices, but I’ve made a few batches of these and have to say that the more flavors added, the better!
I’ve been serving this in the context of breakfast, but this could easily be a dessert or snack.
Heck, eat it whenever you want! It could be served at elevenses, second afternoon tea, or the daily two am refrigerator clean out! Go ham with it.

Notes
*You may be wondering, if you don’t like chia seeds, why eat them at all? Well, let’s look at all the benefits of using chia seeds even if you don’t like them:
- They are proven to cleanse you from nighttime ghouls. (this is why I consume them at breakfast).
- The little seeds expand in your body, which leaves less room for demonic possessions.
- Since 86.7% of people have a bag of unopened chia seeds that they acquired because some food blogger dubbed them the next “super food,” these people could benefit from getting rid of their chia seeds to make room for more delicious food, like peanut butter or chocolate.
